Q3: What is the range on the Light Bee X?
At 40 km/h in eco mode, the range is roughly 75 km on a level surface. Depending on the terrain, throttle application, riding mode (sport or eco), etc., range will change. Surron is dedicated to enhancing our products’ range capabilities on a constant basis. To learn more, consult your owner’s manual.
Q4: What is the top speed of the Light Bee X?
70 to 75 km/h is the maximum speed.
Q5: What is the charging time on Surron models?
Using a standard wall outlet, all Surron models will charge from less than 20% to 100% in 3–4 hours.
Q6: Is the Light Bee X an ebike? A motorcycle?
The distinctions between an ebike, MTB, and motorcycle are muddled by the Light Bee X. It is an off-road dirt bike by definition. It lacks pedals but has a mid-mounted motor, foot pegs, and a twist-grip throttle, just like a regular motorcycle. We refer to it as an “e-dirt bike.” Many jurisdictions do not classify it as an e-bike because of its high power output and lack of pedals.
Q7: Is it legal to ride it on the streets and bike paths?
The Light Bee X is not classified as an ebike in most jurisdictions and therefore is usually not permitted in these areas. However, please check your local regulations.
Q8: Do you sell a pedal kit?
Surron Canada does not sell a pedal kit for the Light Bee X. Aftermarket kits are available but not supported by Surron Canada.
Q9: Is the battery water-resistant?
Indeed. The IP (Ingress Protection) rating of the battery is 67. It can withstand moderate water crossings in off-road settings and be ridden in the rain, through puddles, and cleaned normally. However, pressure washers can push water through the case, and prolonged submersion in water is not recommended. When cleaning your Light Bee X with a pressure washer, we advise removing the battery.
Q10: Do Surron models have regular service/maintenance intervals?
Indeed. For information on service and maintenance schedules, please consult your owner’s manual. Your dealer or the owner may carry out these procedures, depending on the kind of service and level of expertise.
Q11: If I don’t buy from an authorized Surron dealer, do I still get a warranty?
No, DIAN is Canada’s official Surron distributor. We have a special warranty program for our bikes. Dealers in our network are unable to service units sold by unapproved resellers (such as Alibaba, AliExpress, and Amazon). Segway models may be serviced by authorized dealers
